There are times when I want to lift the vehicle safely so I can get under it to do some maintenance and inspections. I know where the four main jacking points are, several inches in front of the rear wheels and several inches behind the front ones, but how do you get the jack stands into those locations while a jack is there holding up the vehicle? Are there other locations to jack it up from? I need to lift at least 2 wheels at a time so I can rotate my tires and I really shouldn't be depending on the jack to keep the vehicle up anyways.
